Worst fans are Newcastle, Chelsea, Inter, Juve, Barca, Madrid

You want true fans, the best are not the fans from the big clubs in the world. They are the ones who travel 100miles on a wet wednesday night in december to lose to grimsby or support a 2nd division ukrainian team. You find the hardcore as you go down the leagues.

Any set of fans who can year after year inspire a not very good Liverpool team to victories against

some of Europes best teams must be the best.  In the last three years, Juventus, Chelsea,

AC Milan, Barcelona, Chelsea (Again haha).  Players from all these teams said that the crowd

    acted as an extra man.

The 'youll never walk alone' at half time in Istanbul 2005 was also amazing.  3-0 down.  Complete

and utter humiliation on the cards and the mad scousers still kept singing.

Come on you reds - do Inter tonight - make us dream

Best fans are those that follow their team, whoever they maybe, to the *** end of nowhere time and again. People that skint themselves to turn up to the most inhospitable locations at the most inconvenient times and think nothing of it.

Worst fans? Anyone who picks their team on the basis of success or league position rather than supporting the team closest to where they are born, live or where their family are from. Anyone who changes their colours after the age of ten or eleven. Anyone who comes to football after the age of sixteen or so. Anyone that calls themselves a supporter but has not seen their team play home and away.

Oh, and anyone that has used the phrase, "It's only a game" after their team has lost rather than plunging into deep depression for a respectable period of mourning!
